This weekend I was invited out to my alma mater, the University of Massachusetts, to photograph their hockey team face off against Boston College. In front of a sold out crown and Bucci Mane himself, UMass scored the game winning goal with just 2 seconds left in the third period.

This year I’m beginning a personal project of photographing the friends I have made on this journey as a photographer and filmmaker. The first in this series is Santi Deoleo.

When you combine exciting innovation with the power to transform the world and save lives, along with fascinating and super intelligent individuals, you just let the story tell itself. So, when the folks at the newly formed Insitute for Protein Innovation reached out and explained what they were doing and asked if I would be interested in helping tell their story, I wasted no time and dove right in.

I recently got a call from a friend of mine who asked me to come to his kid’s elite hockey team practice and take individual portraits of the entire team. Since its the holiday I said “why not?” but little did I know we would only have 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to get in 13 kids. We nailed it and I’m psyched about the images. Ladies and gentlemen…the New England Knights.

Earlier this year I received a call from my friends over at Reebok who had a mission for me. Travel out to Houston a few days later to film and photograph JJ Watt at his home along with one of his friends from the United States Navy SEAL community and a couple Reebok Designers.

I’ve had the pleasure of going on safari a few times at the end of my trips to Rwanda, photographing basketball culture. These are some of my favorite images from those trips.

I had the opportunity to photograph my alma mater, UMass, play BYU in football at the home of the New England Patriots, Gillette Stadium. This was actually my first time shooting a live football game and let me tell you, I had an absolute blast.

My good friends at Reebok called me in to photograph 2 time Crossfit Games champion and Olympian Tia-Clair Toomey of Australia. We had an absolutely blast working together at Reebok Crossfit ONE in Boston.

A few months back I was approached by a group of guys who had recently purchased a manufacturing plant in the Northern New Hampshire town of Lancaster.

Boston nonprofit, Shooting Touch G3, held a basketball game between local girls on their AAU team and the female police officers of the Boston Police Department. The Massachusetts Attorney General, Maura Healey, joined the G3 girls who won on a buzzer beater by one basket.
